Solution
A menu that has the identity of Nihonbashi, Tokyo during the Meiji period
The concept of Japanese-Western eclecticism was born in the Meiji era, when foreign cultures began to flow into Japan after the country opened up, as a way of thinking to combine the best of both worlds and elevate them into something new. The cover of the menu lists the address of the bar, which is located in Nihonbashi, the starting point of the Tokaido road. To express the concept of Japanese-Western eclecticism, both Japanese and Western characters are written side by side. The main text of the menu uses the typeface "Shueitai," which was created at the same time as the concept of Japanese-Western eclecticism. The bar's concept is permeated down to the smallest detail.
